Support you in the creation of your custom-made bicycle frame
The idea is that I accompany you and help you in the various stages of the manufacture of a steel frame (Columbus or Reynolds tubes), and this, over a period of five days. For a tailor-made frame of course!
We will discuss brazing and soldering for the manufacture of the frame (unless specifically requested). It is possible to build a steel fork (1 day more) or that I make it with you during your internship. Or, to order a Columbus carbon fork, for Gravel type projects for example.
The training takes place in my workshop in Jujurieux in Ain (01640), a region where life is good! On request, the training can take place at the Cycle Victor store in Levallois Perret.
Once the project has been validated, I design the geometry of the frame according to your measurements and wishes. It is also at this time that I order the equipment necessary for the manufacture of the frame, so it takes about 3 months between the validation of the training and its start.
Training / Duration / Price
Frame training
- Manufacture of a custom steel frame; once the training is finished the frame is ready to be painted, city / travel / road / gravel frame in Columbus tube.
Frame + Fork training
- A fitting fork is manufactured together (or by me alone, depending on the progress of the frame) during your 6 days internship.
Discovery training
- Manufacture of a (small) front triangle, a good way to approach the different stages of the manufacture of a bicycle: geometry, notching of the tubes, brazing and brazing over a shorter period.
Only 5-day Frame and Frame and Fork training can be done at the Cycle Victor store and with a supplement of € 600 (only on request and one week per month).
All the material necessary for the manufacture is included in the price. When booking a 50% deposit will be requested.
